Weather Change

After some very cold nights and even chilly days, we are finally experiencing true Indiana summer weather - HUMID & HOT!!! Today was and still is a busy day for the girls. They started out by completing their first ever G.I. (General Inspection) followed by their first ever track meet of the summer - they did GREAT! We experienced a small rain storm in the afternoon which finished just in time for them to go to their last class of the day. It's almost 5:30pm right now and the girls just completed their cabin games. The rest of our day consists of dinner and their Thursday Retreat. I hope to post more later today or tomorrow! Ugly Counselor Contest

As a Butterfly tradition, the annual Ugly Counselor Contest was held tonight (Monday). I must say these girls are good! They were even gathering things to use the first day they arrived at camp! The girls always enjoy trying to make their counselor look as yucky as possible, and it's a great opportunity for them to work together as a cabin. A Hectic Catchup!

Again, thank you for being patient. With so many new campers arriving this year, we have been busy making sure they have what they need and are keeping busy with new activities. I think pictures tell it best!

Registration Day 1

First of all we would like to say, thank you to each and every parent for being so patient and understanding today. As of right now we have 31 campers in bed, with a few more arriving late this evening from O'hare.

Although it is the first of two very long days, everyone was in high spirits! Campers were excited to see familiar faces, as well as meet some new. We even found time to play some games! Check out some photos from Day 1 below!

The B2 Staff has been very busy preparing for the arrival of the campers - things are looking GREAT! We are all very excited to meet each and everyone of you during the opening days.
