First Parade!

Your girls completed their first Garrison Parade of the summer and they did FANTASTIC!!! After parade we had our weekly awards, which is where they award Honor Cabin, and all the Military and Athletic banners. This week Honor Cabin for B2 went to Cabin #13, Lt. Vandebelt! Honor Cabin is based on the number of AIs (anytime inspections) and GIs (general inspections) they pass as a cabin during that week. As a unit we fell a little short of the Athletic Banner (had fun though!), but came away with the Military Banner!!!

Here's a few pictures from this weeks Parade.

RETREAT #1

On Thursday the girls had a Retreat, which is practice for Parade on Sunday. Both events give the girls opportunities to earn leadership positions and show everyone how much they've improved on their marching as a unit. Below is a couple quick clips of the girls getting ready to take the field, and line up. Unfortunately we made it to the Retreat field just in time to be told to go back to our cabins because of a storm that came in :( They all looked GREAT though!

We are so ready for another AMAZING summer! I'm Maj. Kopp! I currently live in a small town south of Fort Wayne, IN. This will be my 12th summer working in Woodcraft and I love every minute of it. I'm happily married to the other Maj. Kopp (formerly the Division 1 - DC). The BIG news is, we're expecting our first, a little baby boy, at the beginning of November :) I'm an Indiana Wesleyan University Alumi and former basketball player. One of my LOVES is Photography - which is why I'm the owner and photographer of Kopp Photography! Other LOVES of mine are working with kids of any age and basketball. I'm a basketball coach at the local middle/high school. A few other things I enjoy include: running, food and working outdoors. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you this summer!

Hello Everybody! I am Lt. Stannard and this is my second summer in B2. This year I am a cabin counselor and I am very excited to share this culver experience with you all. I am from Arizona and I am a junior at Arizona State University. I am majoring in sociology and later plan on going to dental school to become an orthodontist assistant. I have a 23 year old sister named Brittany and a 12 year old brother named Carson. I enjoy spending a lot of family time and I love being around friends. I love being active such as running, camping, and being on the lake. Also I am very happy to be here this summer and spend it with you all!!
